Weight Management
Managing weight is an increasing concern for many
people today. People often find that diets are
successful in helping them lose weight but
maintaining their new weight is a challenge.
Sometimes people often find themselves back to their
original weight or even worse, heavier than they
were before they went on a diet. This may be
the beginning of the vicious dieting cycle, which
results from not addressing the root cause of the
problem.
What Harmony4Life clients have
been saying after hypnotherapy and coaching...
"I feel as if my urge for
indulging in unhealthy food and overeating has gone. I have
said no to all junk food since our hypnotherapy session despite the
kids and my husband eating chips and other stuff. Also usually
when I start my period I tend to binge eat; my period started a few
days after our session and I didn't binge eat once. I'm really
sold on hypnotherapy now!"
"I have so much more control since
we started cognitive behavioural coaching and now always choose
healthier options in terms of food, drink and exercise. Your
suggestion of eating five fruit/ veg a day really helped because it
makes me feel so much better about myself. Overall I feel more
confident and happier."
How Harmony4Life will
work with you to get results
Through coaching and hypnotherapy I will help you to
define the image of the ‘new you’ so that you have a clear picture
of your goal. I will work with you to identify any barriers
which may stand in the way of you achieving this and explore how
your beliefs impact your eating habits, attitude and outlook
regarding food.
Hypnoanalysis can be used to replace old information supporting such
associations with new information, such as alternatives to relieve
boredom. As such, hypnotherapy can support behavioural changes
to help you achieve weight goals and motivate you to maintain these,
until this becomes so natural that your new weight is permanently
sustained.
All of this will help to pin down the root cause of the
problem. For instance, if you are aware of the changes you
need to make but are struggling to maintain these changes, it may be
that you overeat to relieve boredom or through habit without even
thinking about it.
